By signing this agreement below, and enclosing your payment (personal check, money order or cashier's check) for one-half of the total cost, you have commissioned the creation of your one-of-a-kind work of art. Once the painting has begun the initial payment is non-refundable. The time required to complete your painting will depend on the number of works I have in progress; typically, you may expect 1 - 2 months.

Upon completion of the painting, I will contact you via e-mail with a photo of the painting attached. At that time, you can let me know if you want any changes made to the painting, if you want me to frame the painting or take a 5% discount, and if you intend to pick-up the painting. The balance of the cost must be paid prior to shipping or pick-up.

IMPORTANT: Provide photos (via paper mail or e-mail) of your subject matter taken from the perspective you want your painting to reflect. Also include any other information that may be helpful such as color chips for the siding and trim of your home. I will return any submitted photos and materials when your painting is delivered. Remember that the better the quality of the photos, the better the subject is depicted on canvas.

List at the bottom of this form any special instructions such as "remove the fence," or " remove the power pole," or "add some colorful plants and shrubs around the front of the house." You can also note the color of the frame you'd prefer. I'll do my best to find a frame you'll like.

The cost is $1.00 (u.s.) per square inch of canvas. Example: 18" x 24" = $432.00. Please note that the total cost includes framing (if you do not want it framed, I will deduct 5% of the total cost of the painting from your last payment due,) paper backing, hanging hardware attached, careful packaging, and insured shipping within the contiguous United States. Other shipping situations can be accommodated. If you live locally and want to pick-up your painting, I will deduct 5% of the total cost of the painting from your last payment due. As an added benefit, your painting will be registered at the National Fine Arts Title Registry. Registration documentation will accompany your painting. Your painting will be ready to hang and enjoy.
